Welcome to CHI Health Midlands, where we proudly serve the Sarpy County and surrounding areas with patient-focused care. When designing our facility, we kept the patient viewpoint in mind, setting a tone for a more comfortable, less stressful hospital stay. We provide our patients with some of the highest quality scores in the country in heart & vascular, emergency, and surgical care. Also, we offer high quality care in diagnostics/radiology, women's care, home care, orthopedics, sleep and breathing disorders.

Visiting Hours
Midlands supports a family-centered care environment that encourages family and friends to visit patients. Because of this belief, we do not have restricted visiting hours. Periodically, visitation may be limited because of special circumstances that may arise. Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If you have any questions, please talk to a nurse or care provider.
Patient eGreeting
Patient eGreeting is a free service provided by volunteers and staff at Midlands. Simply complete the form, and we'll hand-deliver your message to the patient you care about. Please be aware that CHI Health cannot ensure the confidentiality of this e-mail message. This e-mail may be viewed by staff and volunteers in the delivery process. Deliveries will be made on weekdays, during business hours.
Hotels
Many hotels in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area provide reduced rates for patients' families. To obtain prices, please contact the hotel directly and indicate that you are interested in special rates for CHI Health patients and families. Rates may or may not include breakfast. Please phone the hotel for rates and meal details as they are subject to change.

Goal: Reduce inpatient falls with serious injury
Action: Use low beds (feet can touch floor) and fall mat at bedside for all patients who are a high fall risk/high risk for injury
Result: Reduction of 36% less inpatient falls and reduction of 20% less inpatient falls with injury
