Regular screening for colon cancer is an important part of prevention and early detection. Colorectal cancer is highly treatable when found early. Screening tests can find colorectal growths, or polyps, so they can be removed before they become cancerous.

Physical therapists treat patients whose movement and physical abilities are impaired by age, injury, surgery, or disease. Therapists work with other health care professionals to create a care plan based on each individual’s needs.

St. Mary’s values an individual’s mental health as strongly as we do his or her physical health. That is why we provide complete mental health services, including confidential counseling, available twice each month. To provide the greatest possible access to our psychiatry specialists we use telemedicine, allowing patient and doctor to communicate more conveniently.

Pulmonary medicine and respiratory care address a broad spectrum of conditions that affect the way we breathe. Our respiratory therapists assist patients suffering from illnesses including pneumonia, bronchitis, COPD, asthma, and neuromuscular disorders. They also provide support for patients recovering from surgery, trauma, cardiac/respiratory arrest, and metabolic disorders. Respiratory care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to patients ranging in age from newborn to seniors.

Patients with arthritis, fibromyalgia, and autoimmune conditions can receive expert care at our monthly rheumatology clinic. Services include evaluation, infusion therapy, and injections.
