Interprofessional Education

In partnership with the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER) at Creighton University, learners have the opportunity to work collaboratively with clinicians in other medical professions at our learning laboratory, CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - University Campus. 

A 2019 study was published in the Annals of Family Medicine about the improved outcomes associated with this interprofessional education model. Read the study.

Other Professional Training Programs

Nurse Residency

The Nurse Residency Program aids in the new graduates or new to acute care nurse’s transition to practice within CHI Health. The program emphasizes professional practice, critical thinking, nurse satisfaction, evidence-based practice, clinical competency, teamwork and communication.

Occupational Therapy Neurology Fellowship

The Neurology Fellowship for Occupational Therapy includes participation in neurorehabilitation practice at CHI Health Rehabilitation Center at Immanuel and CHI Health Creighton University Medical Cener - Bergan Mercy.

Pharmacy Residency

The purpose of the Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Practice Residency Program is to provide organized and directed pharmacy training in an academic medical center setting and community hospital setting, depending on your location selection.

Physical Therapy Residency

Residents in the Creighton University Physical Therapy Residency Program for pediatrics, orthopedics and neurology work with CHI Health as a clinical partner.

School of Radiologic Technology

The art and science of radiologic technology combines advanced technology with human compassion. While it is one of the youngest of the allied health fields, the profession has expanded tremendously in demand, educational advancement, new techniques and subspecialties.

The CHI Health School of Radiologic Technology was established on July 1, 1996 from the consolidation of CHI Health Immanuel and CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy Radiologic Technology programs.
