Darcy Ray was born and raised in Palmer (20 miles north of Grand Island) and graduated from Palmer High School.  After high school, she attended Doane College where she received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems. After college, Darcy married Greg Ray who works at Cornhusker Toyota/Honda and coaches track at Grand Island Northwest. They have two kids; Kyra, age 11 and Tyron, age 8.

Darcy is the chief financial officer for Equitable Bank, and has been with the bank for 12 years. Prior to joining Equitable Bank, she worked at Credit Management, and McDermott and Miller. Darcy has earned her CPA license and also prepares tax returns as an employee of Horst and Associates.  In her free time, Darcy enjoys playing volleyball, golf, and following her kids to all their activities.
