My name is Brad Keasling and I live in Grand Island, Nebraska. I have two young girls (Chloe and Ellie) and a beautiful wife (Katie). I grew up in a small town called Harvard, Nebraska. I have worked in a variety of industries in my short career, such as retail, manufacturing, banking, finance, sales, and higher education.
While working as a full-time professor at Bellevue University, I started teaching part-time at Central Community College in the business and information technology programs. After six semesters of being an adjunct faculty employee, the opportunity to move to a full-time position at the Central Community College became available. I accepted a faculty position in August 2013 as a business administration/entrepreneurship faculty.
After missing being in a leadership role, I was blessed to be promoted to my current position at the Central Community College as the associate dean of instruction over the business and skilled & technical sciences for both the Grand Island campus and Kearney Center.
Thus far, I have completed three degrees during my educational journey including AAS in Information Technology from Central Community College-Hastings, undergraduate (BS in Business Management 2006) and graduate MBA 2008, from Bellevue University.
Currently, I am working towards my Doctorate in Education (Ed.D) at Doane University. I am a member of Peace Lutheran Church and part of various leadership groups within the church. My hobbies include faith, family, golf, and being a life-long learner.
I look forward to serving on the CHI Health St. Francis Foundation Board and helping to impact the community in a positive way.
