You can choose a specific need or you can contact us directly at (308) 865-2705 or email cindi.richter@chihealth.com to discuss your philanthropic goals.
Are you looking for a tax-wise way to make a charitable contribution? If so, consider making a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA account. Your gift is excluded from taxable income - it can count as your required minimum distribution (RMD). At your direction, you can request money to be transferred from your IRA directly to a qualified charity, like the CHI Health Foundation. This gift is a qualified charitable distribution (QCD), which is often called a Charitable IRA Rollover. You must be at least age 72, your gift may be made from a traditional IRA, and you can give up to $100,000 per year. If you have any questions, please contact your financial advisor.
There are a variety of other ways you can support the Good Samaritan Foundation including bequests, charitable gift annuities, or life insurance.
No matter how you choose to give, we’re happy to help guide you and fulfill your philanthropic goals.
Each year the employees of CHI Health Good Samaritan generously support the employee campaign to fund programs at the hospital as well as in the community.
Thank you to every employee who made a pledge, cash gift, or PTO donation. Each gift was vitally important to the campaign.
