This program allows further collaboration between CHI Health experts.
The CHI Health TeleEEG program enables electroencephalograms (EEGs) performed locally at hospitals to be uploaded for interpretation by fellowship-trained EEG experts at the CHI Health Neurosciences Institute.
An EEG measures electrical activity in the brain and is used to help diagnose many different neurological conditions. Many facilities have the capability of performing an EEG, but in some cases, interpreting the EEG requires the skills and expertise of an epilepsy specialist, a neurologist that has special training in epilepsy diagnosis.
The CHI Health TeleEEG program enables patients to have prompt access to specialized neurological care regardless of where they live.
