Mandi Constantine, PhD
As Division Director of Virtual Services for CHI Health, Mandi oversees a comprehensive virtual services program operating in a multi-state region that includes 17 hospitals and an academic medical center. Her responsibilities span from the development of pilot programs to ongoing daily support of administrative, educational and clinical virtual services to strategic planning and partnerships.
Mandi’s 14 years of experience in the field of telehealth include a diverse background in telehealth user adoption, curriculum development, training, customer support, technology selection, state legislation, consulting, and promoting adherence to professional standards/regulatory requirements.
Mandi is a former Co-Chair of the Nebraska Statewide Telehealth Network, is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine at Creighton University, and a member of the CHI Virtual Health Leadership Team, American Telemedicine Association and HIMSS. She served 22 years in the Air Force and was an Instructor at the National Guard Alaska Military Youth Academy ChalleNGe Program for at-risk youth at Fort Richardson, Alaska.
Thomas Frederickson, MD, FACP, SFHM, MBA
Tom is the Medical Director for Hospital Medicine Service Line at CHI Health in Omaha, Nebraska. He also directs the Palliative care service for CHI Health Clinic, and is the system medical director for the CHI Health Transfer Center and for Virtual Services.
Since completing his residency in Internal Medicine in 1998, Tom has been dedicated to the field of hospital medicine and to making hospitals safer places for patients. He pursued medicine as a second career. After working in corporate finance for a number of years, he attended medical school at the University of Minnesota and then completed Internal Medicine residency at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Tom is active in the Society of Hospital Medicine where he currently serves on multiple committees. He served on the board of Overland Park Regional Medical Center and has held many positions in medical staff leadership. His professional interests include delivery of value based care, inpatient pain management, clinical process improvement, palliative care, and telehealth.
The CHI Health Hospital Medicine Service Line has a 24 hour per day telehospitalist service and currently provides telehospitalist services at 6 remote sites.
Lynette Braun, ARRT RT
As a Telehealth Program Coordinator for CHI Health, Lynette assists clinics in the development and integration of telehealth services into their current practice, as well as staff training and support and promoting the awareness, benefits and partnerships of Virtual Service programs for CHI Health.
Lynette has prior clinical expertise which enhances her current work as a Telehealth Program Coordinator. Lynette is also a Registered Radiology Technologist with a wide variety of skills in medical/surgical clinics and hospitals including some medical assistant experience. She has extensive experience as a radiology software applications specialist and PACS Administrator. In addition she has worked as an EMR / Informatics Specialist and System Administrator with several different EMR application platforms. Lynette has recent experience as an Operations Manager for a telehealth company, as well as experience with Behavioral Health operations, billing & coding, scheduling and credentialing. She has attended Bellevue University and has completed all Business Management classes and is interested in completing her Bachelor’s Degree.
Sherri Larkin, RN
In her role at CHI, Sherri serves as a Telehealth Program Coordinator, responsible for supporting end users in our current telehealth clinical services as well as building new ones. Sherri supports the CHI metro hospitals as well as the critical access hospitals providing telehealth project planning, end-user training, clinical workflow development, equipment testing and installation.
Sherri brings a dual career in business and health care to the Virtual Services department. Though she is new to Telehealth, she is familiar with the CHI hospitals. Sherri worked as an RN at Midlands Hospital and Clinical Informaticist for 7 years at CUMC Bergan Mercy.
Sharon Lazatin, BSE, CHIT
As Operations Coordinator, Sharon is responsible for providing a wide variety of complex duties relating to the administration and operation of Virtual Services programs and functions. She is involved in all aspects of deployment, on-going management and troubleshooting of videoconferencing equipment and systems for administrative, educational and clinical sessions. She provides equipment demonstrations, on-site support and training on telehealth usage and scheduling, and assists in the management and maintenance of CHI Health’s video network infrastructure, bridges, servers as well as endpoints configuration. Sharon also coordinates various special projects including the development and maintenance of Virtual Services’ Share Point site and internal and external websites.
Prior to joining CHI Health, Sharon worked many years mostly outside the USA as Research Manager for the international operations of a conglomerate based in Hong Kong, where she lived and traveled extensively for work and leisure to many countries in the Asia-Pacific region, including her country of birth, the Philippines. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Specialist Certification in Health IT.
Erin Meyer, BS HCM
As the Telehealth Coordinator at CHI Health St. Francis and Good Samaritan, Erin provides onsite support and assists to increase awareness while promoting virtual services. She also promotes telemedicine clinical visits to provide support for patients and allow visits closer to home instead of traveling.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.
Erin has been the telehealth program coordinator for two years with CHI Health. When Erin is not working she spends time camping, fishing, and being outside with her husband (Tyson) and two daughters (Kinley and Regan).
Kay Taylor, DC
As the Video Network Supervisor for CHI Health Kay provides support and monitors the video network for the facilities throughout Nebraska and western Iowa. Although Kay has only been with Virtual Services a short time, she strives to cultivate standardization among technology, processes, and training throughout CHI Health.
Kay previously held the position of Telehealth Coordinator at CHI Health St. Francis, in Grand Island, Nebraska. She provided onsite support and helped to facilitate growth in all areas of virtual services. Prior to telehealth Kay was Centralized Scheduling Lead at St. Francis. While in this post she was able to gain knowledge about the revenue process of the CHI Health.
Kay attended Midland Lutheran, Doane, and Palmer College of Chiropractic, earning a Bachelor in Science and Doctorate in Chiropractic. Kay makes her home with husband Cody, children Hannah and Owen in eastern Iowa.
