CHI Health Mercy Corning
Senior Life Solutions
Aging brings many joys: grandchildren, more free time in retirement, and wisdom gained over the decades. But, at the same time, our older years can also bring the loss of loved ones, stresses of age-related health concerns, or diminished self-esteem.
CHI Health Mercy Corning’s Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive outpatient group counseling program, is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals over the age of 65 suffering from depression and anxiety often related to aging.
If you or someone you know suffers from any of the following, this program might be right for you.
- Memory Loss
- Unresolved grief
- Difficulty Sleeping
- Social withdrawal
- Low self-confidence
- Loneliness or sadness
- Deterioration of daily living skills
Following an individual assessment, participants meet three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting.
Family members, physicians, or other health professionals can refer individuals to the program.
