Christi Cloyd has worked in behavioral care since 1996. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1995 and worked as a certified family teacher at Girls and Boys Town. Christi obtained her master's degree, with special emphasis in behavioral modification, while at Girls and Boys Town. She has been trained in Common Sense Parenting and enjoyed working primarily with the Douglas County Drug Courts. Christi also participated in the Drug Education Programs for both Omaha Public Schools and Millard Public Schools.
Christi has been the co-chair of the Partners for Methamphetamine Prevention Coalition between Council Bluffs, IA and Omaha, NE. She speaks publicly on variations of dual diagnosis and the effects of drugs/alcohol in the community.
Christi has also been successful at integrating dialectical behavioral therapy with substance abuse.
