Rasha Ramakrishnan, LIMHP, NCC graduated from University of Nebraska’s CACREP Accredited Counseling program in 2008. Rasha has worked in various settings including working with children and families who are victims of domestic violence and abuse. She completed work as in-home therapist, worked as staff member and therapist at a group home for troubled teenage boys and girls. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy while working with adolescents and youth struggling with self-harming and aggressive behaviors. She also has experience with developing and implementing school age curriculum at an alternate school setting. She has experience working with trauma and developmental difficulties for youth while at school and during difficult transitions. She is pursuing a certification for EMDR intervention to assist youth and adults struggling after trauma and return to daily functioning.
