Karen Williams, MC, LIMHP received her master’s degree in community counseling from University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ in 1999. She was in private practice in the Phoenix area for 7 years before moving back to Omaha to live closer to family. She started work at CHI Health in December of 2006 at the Bergan Clinic where she continues to offer therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples for a variety of issues to include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health issues. Recently, Karen has started to work with individuals who are struggling with emotional eating and yo-yo dieting helping individuals create a healthier relationship with food and themselves.
She also has Level I and II training for EMDR (eye movement de-sensitization and re-processing.)
Karen is also a regular contributor to the CHI Health Wellness blog.
