About
Dr. Watson specializes in all aspects of orthopedic surgery including shoulder, knee, hip & wrist surgery, hip & knee replacements, and fractures, with a special interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He has been the team physician for Omaha North, Northwest, Millard North, and Roncalli High Schools and helps take care of athletes from many other area schools and leagues.
Dr. Watson graduated with high honors from Harvard University with a degree in Biology. He received his Medical Doctorate and Masters of Surgery from McGill University and did his orthopedic residency training at the University of Iowa Hospitals. He has been a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon since 2001 and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Watson belongs to the Nebraska Orthopedic Society and the Omaha Orthopedic Society. He has published and presented research in both basic science and the field of orthopedics.
Dr. Watson is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 2017.
