Dr. Ehtesham is a board-certified and fellowship trained neurosurgeon. He serves as Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Neurological Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska and is also Director of the division of Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery. He formerly served as Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee where he also directed the Brain Tumor Research Laboratory. He has been recognized with the Young Investigator Award by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He specializes in complex spine surgery including revision surgeries and spinal deformity/scoliosis. He also has specific expertise in the treatment of brain aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations via both open surgical and minimally-invasive techniques
