2019 Esophageal and Bariatric Update for Primary Care Health Professionals
Gastro-esophageal reflux disease and obesity are among the two most common problems encountered in the primary care practice. GERD and obesity have been associated with Barrett’s esophagus, esophageal cancer and respiratory disease. The 2019 Esophageal and Bariatric Update for Primary Care Health Professionals will provide primary care practitioners with practical patient management approaches to the full spectrum of reflux and obesity disease. The emphasis will be placed upon appropriate and timely diagnostic evaluation for prompt diagnosis and treatment.

Purpose: The esophageal portion will provide an overview of esophageal cancer, reflux management and diagnosis, and management of esophageal motility disorders.
