When grocery shopping choose fresh instead of reaching for the processed foods (usually located in the interior aisles of the store). Generally you can find the freshest (whole) foods along the perimeter of the grocery store. By eliminating processed foods you’ll also be ridding your body of man-made chemicals found in many foods, which can be addictive. Before you know it after eating more and more whole foods your body will enjoy—and even crave--these natural foods. You might surprise yourself--instead of craving the sweetness from a processed dessert you might crave the sweetness of an apple or a bunch of grapes.
