St. Francis Foundation’s Ticket to Win Kicking Off Year Three on June 5
June 03, 2019
CHI Health St. Francis Foundation’s Ticket to Win fundraising raffle returns for a third year with a ticket sales kick-off event at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5 at the hospital. The public is invited to attend this free event.
Proceeds from Ticket to Win, the main annual fundraiser for the Foundation, will help provide training and equipment to rural first responders in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, Merrick and Greeley counties. In addition, proceeds will support area individuals in the cancer recovery process through the hospital’s Renewed Hope project.
Ticket to Win raffle tickets, priced at $100 each, will be available for purchase beginning at the kick-off event. Until July 15, tickets can also be purchased at the hospital in the gift shop, Foundation office and main ACC; or from any board member or trustee. After July 15, through the time of drawing on July 17, tickets will be available at the Foundation office.
Prizes for the Ticket to Win raffle drawing include a cash grand prize of $15,000 and 10 additional $500 VISA gift card. Winning tickets will be drawn at the Ticket to Win social event beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17 at the hospital. The public is invited to attend, however Ticket to Win raffle ticket holders do not need to be present to win.
In addition to the drawing, the free Ticket to Win after-hours social event on July 17 starting at 4:30 p.m., will also feature appetizers, a live auction, and drawings for several must-be-present-to-win door prizes including four $250 cash cards for attendees and five $100 gift cards for emergency first responders.
"Over the last few years we have upgraded our Foundation efforts and fundraising events to become more immediately impactful and targeted to our local area communities," says Melissa Griffith, St. Francis Foundation director.
"It’s always a thrill to hear the Ticket to Win grand prize and subsequent winner names announced, but there’s an even deeper sense of excitement for donors who have purchased the raffle tickets and those in attendance at the free event when they see the totals first-hand and begin to recognize the significant role they play in helping us provide vital support for our local communities. Whether you’re purchasing a raffle ticket, supporting as an event sponsor, bidding during the live auction, or just lending moral support through your attendance at the free Ticket to Win event, you’re helping us make our local communities safer, lives healthier, and keeping Central Nebraska strong," says Griffith.
