Tina Ames

Tina joined CHI Health in July of 2015. She has more than 28 years of experience in health care marketing, public relations and communications from both the provider side and the advertising agency side working with health care clients across the country.

Tina managed two corporate rebrands and their successful roll out and adoption. She is a skilled focus group facilitator and managed diverse consumer research functions and a secret shopping program. She worked extensively in crisis communication planning and execution, and managed national and international media coverage.

Tina is a member of the Omaha Community Playhouse Board of Directors. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Educare Omaha which provides high quality early childhood education in the metro area. Tina was appointed to the Kansas State Children’s Initiative Fund Cabinet by the Governor and served for two years. She founded and ran a not-for-profit organization benefitting children on east Maui. She served as president of the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations for two years. Several marketing and communications projects under Tina’s direction went on to win regional and national awards. She often speaks about marketing at professional conferences and community meetings.

Tina was born and raised in York, Nebraska. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in public relations and marketing. In addition to Omaha, Tina has worked in Sioux Falls, northern Virginia, Kansas City and Hawaii.
