Anna Turman

Anna Mae Turman, MHA, BFA, CHCIO, FHIMSS, FACHE, is the Division VP CIO for the Midwest Division of CommonSpirit Health, a non-profit health system with 139 hospitals, 700+ care sites, and 159,000 employees in 21 states.

With more than 20 years of experience, Anna is responsible for advising and guiding senior business leadership toward the best use of information technology to achieve desired business outcomes, as well as establishing and maintaining a strategic business relationship between ITS and its customers.  She works closely with business leaders to identify needs, and advice as to the most efficient and effective ways to meet their needs in an effort to achieve goals.  She also manages requests for new or changed services through the ITS governance process, ensures a high level of customer satisfaction to enhance the customers experience with ITS service.

Anna has a passion for access to health care through innovation and technology, enhancing the lives of those who care for our patients.  She empowers synergistic relationships encouraging a culture of change agility to achieve the best utilization of information technology.

Prior to her career with CommonSpirit Health, Anna was the CEO of a community hospital in western Nebraska.
