“This was such a special evening for our entire team and me to - finally - recognize our recipients. Each of you embodies the best in leadership and inspires the rest of us by your selfless acts or service,” said Ann Schumacher, president of CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs.
“These four individuals have truly transformed southwest Iowa with their work.”
Under their leadership, we saw the creation of the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation (now known as Community Foundation for Western Iowa), Pottawattamie Gives!, the Highway 34 bridge, On With Life Neurological Rehab Facility, International Baccalaureate school programs in our elementary and middle schools, the designation of Council Bluffs as an All-America City, the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Coalition, and the AllCare Health Center.
