New Technology and Innovative Procedures
Our ability to make real-time 3-D models of the heart helps us determine the best treatment options such as medications, surgical procedures, or devices such as defibrillators or pacemakers with remote monitoring by specialized staff.
A new, high-tech hybrid electrophysiology lab at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy in addition to our existing labs enables us to provide efficient, accurate care.
Heart Care Support Group
Family, caregivers and patients of CHI Health who have an implantable cardiac defibrillator (ICD) or been affected by an ICD are invited to attend our quarterly support group meetings. Each meeting offers education about ICDs and provides an avenue for patients and caregivers to share their experiences with others who are dealing with similar feelings and concerns. The cost is free and a light meal is provided. For more information, please contact Pamela Gaines at (402) 398-5654 or check online for group availability.
