At CHI Health's diagnostic and imaging center locations, board-certified physicians and other radiology experts provide advanced imaging services and collaborate with other specialists, including your primary care physician, to deliver optimal patient care.

All diagnostic and imaging centers offer a full range of outpatient services at each of our hospitals and several services at three free-standing imaging centers.

What are your hours?
Each Diagnostic Center has its own hours. Our scheduling centers have specially trained nurses, MAC/PAC nurses, who can schedule a time for your test that is convenient for you. Evening and Saturday hours are available.
How should I prepare for my test?
When your test is scheduled, the MAC/PAC representative will give you instructions as to how to prepare for and what to expect during and after your test. In many cases, you will want a friend or family member to drive you home. Feel free to ask the MAC/PAC nurse any questions about your test.
Where do I park?
Diagnostic Centers are centrally located and accessible from the main entrance of the hospital. Free Valet Parking is available. At West Omaha Imaging Center, located on the first floor of the Midwest Cancer Center, the entrance is on the south side of the building.
What is the appointment cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please call the MAC office at (402) 717-2222.
How quickly will my results be sent to my doctor's office?
The radiologist reports sent out very quickly in most cases. There may be delays if we are waiting for images from another location, for comparison. A report may have already arrived at your physician's office, but he or she may want to compare lab or other information prior to calling to explain results.
How do I get a copy of my report?
The Medical Records page explains how to obtain your hospital medical records and has the form that needs to be completed and returned to the hospital at which you had your test. Forms may be mailed or faxed.
Will you send my exam reports to multiple physicians' offices?
Yes, exam reports can be sent to multiple locations. Please inform the registration staff and technologist which offices reports need to be sent.
Do I need a referral for a mammogram?
Patients do not need a referral for a screening mammogram. To schedule a screening mammogram, call (402) 717-2222. You may also request an appointment online.
We will ask for a physician's contact information be provided so results can be sent to the office. A physician's order is needed for a diagnostic mammogram to evaluate a breast complaint or abnormality detected by physical exam or screening mammogram. If you do not have a physician, please call the Breast Health Center at (402) 717-8058.
CHI Health diagnostic and imaging locations are accredited by the American College of Radiology for Excellent Imaging. Our personnel are well qualified, through education and certification, to perform and interpret your medical images.
