College Student Job Shadow Program - CHI Health, Nebraska (NE) - Southwest Iowa (IA)

Purpose:
CHI Health is committed to providing future health care professionals an observational opportunity to:

  • Learn from our exceptional professionals,
  • Explore health care career options,
  • Increase awareness of the skill sets required, and
  • Experience our health care culture.

Goal:
Job Shadowing participants are paired up with a health care professional and have the opportunity to observe and interact with the health care professional as they conduct their daily tasks. Hands-on patient care is not a part of the College Student Job Shadowing learning sessions.

Duration:
College Student Job Shadowing learning sessions are scheduled in either four or eight hour increments and done on an individual basis, not in groups.

  • Physician/Physician Assistant
  • Radiologic Technology
  • Respiratory
  • Speech and Language Pathology
  • Sports Medicine
  • Weight Management
