Chief Academic Officer
Michael D. White, MD, is the chief academic officer of CHI Health and a faculty member the Creighton University School of Medicine. Additionally, he is the assistant to the provost for health sciences at Creighton University and the associate dean of educational innovation within in School of Medicine. He also serves on the steering committee that oversees development of the new CHI Health Academic Health System. Dr. White previously served as associate dean for medical education at Creighton University School of Medicine.
Dr. White is a practicing interventional cardiologist. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology.
Dr. White received his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine, where he also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease. He completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
