Vice President & Regional Corporate Responsibility Officer
Leigh Bertholf has been with CHI for nearly 25 years, and held various management roles before becoming corporate responsibility officer (CRO) in 2000. Ms. Bertholf has served as CRO for Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Neb., Memorial Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn., and as regional CRO for the East/Southeast Region before moving to Omaha as vice president and regional corporate responsibility officer for CHI Health. Ms. Bertholf has a master's degree in nursing and is a certified compliance and ethics professional.
In addition to her responsibilities as regional CRO for CHI Health, Ms. Bertholf has oversight responsibility for Iowa and East/Southeast Regions and serves as the CRO for Clinically Integrated Networks across CHI. She is the national compliance lead for the New Era Payment Methodologies which includes: Bundled Payment Care Improvement Initiatives, Clinically Integrated Networks and Accountable Care Organizations. Ms. Bertholf also serves as the corporate responsibility liaison for the Orthopedic and Spine and Cardiovascular national service lines.
