No matter the stage or the prognosis, a cancer diagnosis completely changes your life. At CHI Health, we are dedicated to making the whole process—from treatment through recovery—go as smoothly as possible. We have thoughtfully designed services that make your life comfortable and as easy as the circumstances permit.

Image Recovery Center

The Image Recovery Center® is a comprehensive hospital-based appearance enhancement program available to cancer patients. It is an integral part of oncology treatment services at CHI Health and is designed to help patients prepare for appearance changes they will experience due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery. The Image Recovery Center is staffed by clinically trained cosmetologists who understand the side effects associated with cancer treatment.

Support Groups

The CHI Health Cancer Center offers support groups for cancer patients and their families. Many of these support groups meet on a monthly basis and are a place for patients and loved ones to meet to discuss their experiences and concerns.  View a full list of cancer support groups.

Survivorship Program

The CHI Health Cancer Survivorship Program is an educational, recreational and social program that meets on a monthly basis. Programs are held at local community venues that offer cancer survivors both education and recreation opportunities. The program is open to cancer survivors treated through the CHI Health system along with one guest. The program is free of charge. Download the latest flyer (PDF).

Oncology Case Conferences

The CHI Health Cancer Center holds weekly cancer conferences that focus on breast cancer, lung cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, as well as other general cancer diagnoses. These conferences are multidisciplinary, and incorporate all facets of the oncology healthcare team including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists, primary care physicians, nurse navigators, social workers, genetics counselors, oncology nurses, and clinical trials representatives. The conferences are patient oriented and are conducted for the purpose of improving the care of patients with cancer.
