Childbirth Education Classes
Childbirth can be an amazing experience. Knowing what to expect during the delivery and beyond can help new parents concentrate on the birth and not the unknown.
CHI Health offers a variety of childbirth and parenting classes. It's easy to find exactly what you need.
Prepared childbirth is the first and most important class you will take. You will learn exactly what to expect during the birthing process so there are no surprises during labor. It meets once a week for six weeks or as an extended class on Saturdays. Classes fill up fast so register early so you will be in the class during your third trimester.
Classes are offered at the area CHI Health facilities – Bergan Mercy, Creighton University Medical Center, Mercy, and Lakeside. There's a class for just about everything you need If you have already chosen a facility for your delivery, you may want to attend classes at that facility. If you have not chosen a facility, or would like to attend a class that better fits your schedule, don't hesitate to register at any of our facilities.
