Healthcare Career Exploration Camp

The Healthcare Career Exploration Camp is a week-long, free day camp that gives a class of 30 Nebraska/Iowa high school students guided exposure to variety of professions within health care.  Students explore a variety of health career options, learn about important issues in health care, and become certified in First Aid and CPR. The program is sponsored by CHI Health is open to incoming 10th, 11th and 12th grade males and females. The 2016 Healthcare Career Exploration Camp application will be posted here in January 2017.

2017 Healthcare Career Exploration Day Camp Details

Cost: FREE!

Camp dates:
Monday, June 19, 2017 – Friday, June 23, 2017 
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm  (lunch & snacks provided)

Immanuel Medical Center, Conference Center
6901 North 72nd Street, Omaha, NE

Your application MUST arrive in our office by Noon on this date to be considered.

You will be required to provide your own transportation,

Who is Eligible:
Incoming 10th, 11th and 12th grade males and females in Nebraska and Iowa high schools.

Students must have an interest in pursuing health care as a profession (Excluding Veterinary Science and Dentistry).

Space is limited to 30 students.

A selection committee will review applications, and all students will be notified by e-mail of their standing (accepted, wait list, or denied) by Wednesday, May 17th.
