Insurance Payment

Please check your health insurance plan for requirements for emergency care. Some health plans require primary care approval prior to receiving care. Patients are responsible for obtaining this approval. Any co-pay is expected at the time of service.

Follow-Up Care

After treatment, patients are referred back to their primary care physician to ensure they receive proper follow-up care. Please call your physician for a follow-up appointment. If you do not have a personal physician, we will assist you in finding a physician to meet your healthcare needs.

Continuity of Care at CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic

At Urgent Care, our  electronic medical record system is networked throughout the CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic locations. That means your Urgent Care provider can access your record to check for drug allergies and previous prescriptions.

Should a follow-up appointment be necessary, your Primary Care provider can access the record of your Urgent Care visit. Your doctor will know what treatment was provided and any medication and dosage that was prescribed. If your doctor is not part of CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic, we can send a visit note directly from the system. This integration helps the provider manage your health and improves quality of care.
