Conjuntiva


Definición:

Es una membrana delgada que cubre la superficie interna del párpado y la parte blanca del globo ocular (la esclerótica).

La inflamación de la conjuntiva se denomina conjuntivitis , la cual hace que la parte blanca del ojo aparezca roja.
