Esclerótica


Definición:

Es la pared exterior blanca del ojo. Es un tejido fuerte y fibroso que se extiende desde la córnea (la sección frontal y transparente del ojo) hasta el nervio óptico en la parte posterior del ojo. La esclerótica le da su color blanco al ojo.
