Richard (Rick) Rolston, M.D., is senior vice president for CHI Health and president and chief executive officer of CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic. He also serves as the senior associate dean for Clinical Affairs at the Creighton University School of Medicine.
CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic is a primary and specialty care network of physicians that serves the Omaha and Council Bluffs areas, as well as communities in southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska. The clinic network has more than 90 locations with more than 600 physicians and advanced practice clinicians. It is part of CHI Health.
Before joining CHI Health and CHI Health Alegent Creighton Clinic, Dr. Rolston founded and served as the president and chief executive officer of Hospital Sisters Health Systems Medical Group, a not-for-profit, physician-led, multi-specialty clinic in Wisconsin and Illinois. He has also served as the president and chief executive officer of Prevea Health Services in Green Bay, Wis., from 2005-2009 and as chief executive officer of Lovelace Medical Center and Physician Group in Albuquerque, N.M., from 2002-2005.
Dr. Rolston is a board-certified pediatrician and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics. He graduated from the University of New Mexico School Of Medicine in 1987 and completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of New Mexico Affiliated Hospitals.
