Heart Attack Survivor Inspires Others

Article Date: Sep 18, 2013

Every Sunday you'll hear music pumping in Stinson Park. Everyone is welcome to take part in Zumba classes.

The organizer is Reina Walls, a woman who hopes to get her community healthy. You may have an image of what a heart attack survivor looks like. You likely wouldn't picture Walls. Yet she is a heart attack survivor.

Doctor Atul Ramachandran saw Walls when she came into Alegent Creighton Health's Bergan Mercy Medical Center. He says Walls had a heart attack known as "the widow attack." He cleared the blockage.
