Breastfeeding Benefits

Alegent Health Clinic pediatrician, Dr. Kirti Gupta, speaks with KETV on the benefits of breastfeeding. She says that the American Academy of Pediatrics recommends breastfeeding a child until the age of at least 12 months and after for as long as the mother and baby desire and that the World Health Organization recommends nursing up to two years of age or beyond.
