Doctor to Olympic athletes: Don't shake hands

The Omaha-World Herald looks at sportsmanship, shaking hands and germs after England’s Olympic doctor suggested that British athletes avoid shaking hands at the 2012 Summer Games.

Alegent Health Clinic's Sean Mullendore, M.D., who specializes in sports medicine, believes that athletes shaking hands is part of competition. Instead, he encourages good hand hygiene.
