A six-day course to provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to develop a Faith Community Nurse practice.

Faith Community Nursing (or Parish Nursing) is recognized as a specialty practice that combines professional nursing and health ministry. It emphasizes health and healing within the faith community and the larger community.

Target Audience:
Nurses who want to develop Health Ministries in their congregations.

Purpose: To provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to develop a Faith Community Nurse practice.

Cost:

  • There is no charge for Network Members (those who sign a covenant)
  • Non-members may take the course for $500 if space remains
  • Registration deadline: August 22, 2014. No refunds after August 22.
