LANSDALE, Pa., – Hayes, Inc. will provide evidence-based health technology assessment resources to Alegent Health as part of Alegent Health’s faith-based mission to provide the highest quality care for the body, mind, and spirit of every person in the communities it serves. Therefore, Alegent Health is collaborating with Hayes to ensure that hospital leadership at its member facilities will have access to clinical information to assist them in making the best possible decisions regarding adoption, acquisition, and deployment of medical technologies, with specific emphasis on patient safety.

The reports available through Hayes’ web-based technology assessment service evaluate technologies at different stages of development and utilization, from the preclinical and preregulatory approval stage, through early clinical use and into widespread adoption of the technology. Hayes’ services are supported by a team of highly trained medical research analysts, skilled nursing staff, and an education services division.
